Computer Studies and Information Processing, Web Technologies - Certificate
The Web Technologies certificate is designed for individuals who wish to pursue a career in a Web-related field and acquire the training and technical skillset that is necessary to prepare them for a career in a Web-related occupation. It is also ideal for those wishing to gain a broader knowledge of computer software and/or hardware. The certificate program emphasizes technical coursework only and does not require students to take general education electives that are required in the associate degree options.
Note: Students must obtain a grade of at least C in all computer course requirements and must maintain a 2.0 GPA. To be awarded this certificate, students must be registered as matriculating in the Computer Studies program and successfully complete all certificate courses with a grade of C or better. Credits earned in this certificate program may be applied toward the associate degree program. Many courses require prerequisites, corequisites and/or testing. See course descriptions for details.
