LENF
The Community College of Rhode Island offers a degree program for individuals interested in a career in law enforcement and for those currently working in the field. The program is designed to provide students with a background in academic courses as well as specialized training.

MATH 1139 or MATH 1139C is recommended for students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution. It is strongly recommended that students work with the CCRI academic advising team to select the appropriate math course for graduation and to prepare for transfer.
There is a capstone course for students enrolling in the Law Enforcement major. The required capstone course integrates learning from prior coursework. Students will need to have taken Criminal Law (LAWS 1010), Criminal Procedure (LAWS 1020), Criminalistics I (LAWS 1030), Law of Evidence (LAWS 2010) and Criminal Law and the Constitution (LAWS 2030) prior to taking Case Studies in Criminal Law.
